Deer Circus is an independent site that helps you choose an accent chair. We write plain buying guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks for people furnishing a living room, bedroom or reading corner.
You don't need a furniture store's vocabulary to read us. We explain the terms that matter, like seat height, high back, slipper and tub, in everyday words.
What we cover
Our guides cover club, wingback and slipper chairs, reading chairs with and without an ottoman, and velvet, chenille, faux leather and mid-century looks. We also answer the questions buyers ask most, like where to put a chair, what color suits a couch and how to clean the fabric.
We compare models from many of the brands sold on Amazon, from long-time names to newer makers. New guides arrive over time.
What we do
For every chair we cover, we read the product details, dimensions and maker information. We also look at what buyers often say about it after it arrives.
